Neer Dosa
eer dosa is known for its light, lacy texture and distinct preparation method.
- 1 cup sona masuri or short grained rice
- 2 tbsp grated coconut
- 1 tsp salt or as per taste
Soak rice for at least 8 hours
Grind it with coconut, little water and salt
Add more water and make it a thin batter
Use a seasoned cast iron or a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful and rotate the nonstick to spread it. Trick is to have the pan very hot.
Pour a few drops of oil. Cover for 30 seconds.
Slide it onto a kudupu and let it cool for 5 mins before pouring the next one.
