What is it about Neer Dose that became so special in the hearts across India. One of the most popular dosas from Mangalore. The term “neer dosa” translates to “water dosa” in Kannada, reflecting its watery batter. Unlike the conventional dosa, neer dosa is known for its light, lacy texture and distinct preparation method. Neer dosa is gluten-free, making it suitable for those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. It is also light on the stomach, as it lacks fermentation and minimal oil is used in its preparation.
